How wonderful! Thank you for showing your work --- I will never do it (as I am absolutely NOT artistic with a pen or drawing), but I drool over things made by others who ARE artistic.....

Beautiful! I've got a pair of canvas tennies and have been thinking about doing this, too. A couple of questions: What size pen did you use, and how did you protect them from water staining? I've been afraid to try for fear they'd get wet and run. Would love a few tips on this!

I started with 2 sharpie Fine Point markers, however there was one marker that says "Double Permanent" in red on the marker. That one I did not like at all--it bleed for my liking. I sprayed Scotch Guard after I drew on them. The next pair I will spray before and after.

Great idea, I'm going out to find myself some sneakers. Do you think they need to be the canvas like yours, or would this work on the "leather" ones too?

Oh my gosh. Wish I could draw.

I recently bought a shirt to try my zendoodling on. I hope it turns out half as great as your shoes.
