I swear: had *just* piled today's pile of new fabrics, just out of the dryer, on the bed, about to be folded. I looked away for a moment, turned back and....

My avatar - Bella - was spayed on Wednesday. She spent the rest of that night in the bucket bed with me nearby. On Thursday morning, I was doing some non-regular laundry - dog quilts, rugs, etc. I had a load of what we call dog towels (old towels that we use for dog baths, wiping up spills, cars, etc.) in the list. When I had pulled the dog towels out of the dryer, I set the basket aside while I answered the phone. When I came back I noticed that Bella has burrowed her way in to the middle of the dog towels. I just did not have the heart to move her. The towels are still in the basket in the laundry room because she is still using them. I did notice that she was out of them earlier, so I put them back in the dryer to warm them up. When I went back in to take them out and fold them, Bella was sitting on the dryer. So I put them out in the basket again and she immediately jumped back in and burrowed. Oh well, I can get them folded and put away when she is feeling better. Sleep well Bella. Momma loves you.

They like that warm fabric. Mine gets in the dryer and gives me dirty looks as I pull the clothes out from under him.

canmitch1971 09-09-2011 07:08 AM

Your kitty looks so warm and comfortable. Awwwwww

QM 09-09-2011 10:37 AM

Danger alert! My nieces' roomie swears she did not do this on purpose. She moved some laundry from the washer, answered the phone, moved the rest and started the drier. The result was a horrible cat death. The roomie (more commonlly known as the roommate from ^$^%^$) had the audacity to ask my niece to pay for the ruined clothes!

Hattie Frances 09-09-2011 11:40 AM

He just has to get in the pile to help fold that's just his way of doing it.

alikat110 09-09-2011 11:42 AM

Opportunist!!!!!!!

clarinet87 09-09-2011 12:04 PM

He was protecting your fabric from the sock thief. Just in case, you know?

MaineGirl76 09-09-2011 12:33 PM

AWWWWWWWWWWWWW so cute!

Glassquilt 09-09-2011 04:43 PM

Bella likes her heated 'towels' Bet it made the incision feel better.

NCquilter 09-09-2011 05:07 PM

Awww, so cute! My cat used to climb into the dryer if I left the door open. LOL

Latrinka 09-09-2011 05:39 PM

Awe, what a sweetie!
