Quilt shops in Queensland NE Australia

I am making a trip to Queensland to go Scuba Diving. I would like to so some Quilt Shop Shopping.
Any Shop names would be great.
We will be there for about 2 weeks.

This is a listing of anyone who put Australia as their location, you might look through it and find a member who is actively posting and send them a PM. http://www.quiltingboard.com/members...sername&order=

It depends which part of NE Queensland you are going to.

Can I go with you? Can I? I'll be very quiet and behave myself, can I? Huh, can I?

I always use Google to find quilt stores. I use to scuba dive off the California and Mexico coast. Even saw a shark one time which we got out of the water quickly. Always wanted to go diving off the coast of Australia. Have fun!

I live in North Queensland-if you are scuba diving I guess you may be coming to Cairns as it is the gateway to the Barrier Reef. There are a few shops in Cairns. Please PM me if you want further details. I am now retired so if you are coming this way happy to meet up. I have met several members from this Board who have visited over here and taken them fabric shopping etc. PM me if you want to know more

I love Cairns; is the little museum still there in the shopping area? Years ago, I brought a small hand fan that had come from Cairns in the early 1900's and gave it to them at the museum.
