Is the sole (bottom of slipper) also quilted fabric?

ManiacQuilter2 11-03-2015 01:33 PM

No I haven't. They are always so cheap the day after Xmas.

I don't know, I don't have the pattern yet. I want to use some novelty fabrics I have on hand.

I don't have the pattern yet, that's a good question.

If the sole is quilted, I would add some puff paints, helps with traction.

Fig Tree has the pattern and it's downloadable for 6.50. Southern Fabrics is 3.25 but shipping to me is 5.99. I just bought it from Fig Tree and downloaded it. Yes the bottom sole is quilted. I'm either going to use some rubbermaid shelf liner or dots of non-stick stuff. We have hardwood floors and they can be slippery.

I haven't made these quilted slippers either, but I've seen quite a few posted from another quilted pattern and thought they might be fun to try. http://www.coolcatcreations.net/

Years ago I made some ladybug mule type slippers... cost me a fortune in the end....but were fun to wear.
