Quilters Cache Question

Do you know if the size of the blocks are finished sizes or when you make the block is there a 1/2 " for unfinshed. I hope you know what I mean. I am trying to make 10 1/2 sq unfinshed blocks for a xmas swap and when I find a block on the site that says 10" block does it mean finished? Thanks for your help.

I have had a look at a couple of their blocks which say 'this makes a 12 inch block'. The cutting instructions ask for 3.5" squares, 4 of which are the width of the block which means the finished size of the block will be 12" (12.5" before you sew the blocks together).

Hope this helps.

I have always understood the categories to mean the finished size

I agree with the above.

From just glancing at the site - I think size given means "finished size".
