Quilters gather today...
 

To stuff our pie holes with food and have great conversation. A quilting sister ('homespun') is passing thru my town on her way back to OK, and I, and 3 more of my quilting friends are joining up for meet-greet-and eat! It is always fun to get to know others who share the passion of quilting--or sewing in general. We are all board members and look forward to becoming fast friends. Just a note of encouragement to anyone who has an opportunity to share an experience like this..you will never regret doing so.

We had the nicest time! We ate, gossiped. laughed..had so much fun. 'homespun' has family in eastern part of my state...we hope to get together again when she visits them. Meeting new people can broaden our horizons--I love it!

I had a Quilter, I met here one the Board, visit w/her family from Australia. It was wonderful. I invited them to use my home as a bouncing board as they toured various sites etc. Then the next year their oldest daughter came and visited so I've met the whole family. YES.. TRY AND MEET FOLKS that you chat with here. I've met four quilters from this site in person.

Hey, I am the visitor! I had a great time with Mermaid and her 3 quilting friends. She gave me the cutest bag made with selvedges I had given her and she added embroidery work, too. Quilters are the nicest people! We will see each other again.
