Quilting defination
 

SO's definition of my quilting to a friend of his. "She takes big pieces of material, cuts them into little pieces, and then sews them back together":D

He got it!!

He's learning - now if you can just get him to add "in a different pattern...."

My DH said the same thing when I first started quilting! But he said it with a big grin.

Your SO has it about half right...but there's more to add:

"She takes big pieces of material, cuts them into little pieces, and then sews them back together

..................using skill and talent to create a work of art filled with love and good wishes for the recipient.

Just don't call a lovingly made quilt a "blanket!"

And that's just what the garment workers do to make our clothes !
