Have any of you been able to get a reply from the editor, Carolyn? I have sent emails and even phoned the Colorado number listed as a contact number.

You probably will get an instant reply if you post on their Facebook page.

Thank you for the idea Onebyone but there wasn't any response on the Facebook page either. My question arose from the latest Quilts from Quiltmaker's 100 blocks. On the top of the front cover was "Bonus: Flanged binding how-to photo tutorial" but it isn't included in the magazine and I can't find it on their website either.

I don't have the magazine with me now or I would give you the page number. The full color illustration is actually half a page in the magazine. I was hoping for more.

Thanks for that link katybob. I love the look of flanged binding and this had great photo tutorials. Might want to try this soon.

Quiltmaker was purchased by the same company that purchased Fons & Porter Love of Quilting and Quilters Newsletter. The customer service (when I was a member of Quilters Club of America) was abysmal. Any email or telephone message went into a black hole.

Here is a link to a video that shows binding with flange. This is the one that I use!

It works well, was pleasantly surprised that it's easier than it looked! Surely appreciate the replies and help.
