Looking at the beautiful quilts outside made me think. I'm wondering how many quilt tops (not quite finished) I could hang outside and if it would motivate me to complete them. I might have to give that a try, maybe a "before & after". Not sure how many I have, because I've got them stuck in different places, thus allowing me to purchase more fabric without guilt. ( right? )

Although it would be beautiful :D I would be afraid they would fade or end up with bird droppings all over them :(

That would make an excelent outdoor show in a park. I have been to an outdoor quilt display in Berthoud, Colorado serveral years ago. It was wonderful it also had a very festive feel to it as there were vendors there set up in the park with all the quilting items. I did rain a bit and caused great panic but all in all the quilts were not hurt. If it were just quilt tops it would be easier to gather them if it did start raining.
