Thanks for telling us about this.

Do you know how often the Clues will be given?
And how long the Mystery will last?

Bonnie will be posting the introduction and supply list on NOVEMBER 1st! The
only info she has said so far is to choose 3 strong contrasting colors plus
backgrounds. She will reveal what she is using on Nov 1st :c) The first clue will
go live NOVEMBER 18th!
Usually there is one clue a week and the length of the mystery will depend on how many clues there are. I think Roll, Roll Cotton Boll was 6 clues, but I can't remember for sure

DianaSwi 10-24-2011 06:31 AM

ditto!!
Diana
P.S. they are really addictive and again are not quickie quilts..they are so fun !!

DianaSwi 10-24-2011 08:42 AM

Thanks for the info .... I'll follow up next week and see if I have what I need in my stash, and if so, I'll be in for it!

Speaking of Mystery Quilts .... I remember reading on the QB about some who did an online Mystery on New Year's Day. I'd be interested this year .... know who? where? for the details?

Or other sites that do these online mysteries?

Planet Patchwork usually has a New Year's Mystery. It is still too early, but I will keep watching.

Thanks for the link ... someone suggested it the other day, though I didn't see anything on their site about them doing them. Will wait and see!

http://quilting.about.com/ has also had a New Year's Day mystery the last few years, but I don't think they are advertising one yet either.

Thanks for posting the info and the clarification. I have made a few of her mystery quilts. They've all been real stash-busters and a lot of fun.

JeanieG 10-25-2011 06:25 PM

I did my first Mystery Quilt - Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll (Bonnie's last Mystery Nov/Dec 2010) and just loved it. Her instructions are so easy to follow. Like someone said you have a week to do each part, it is so much fun! Come and join the fun - I can hardly wait!

pjnesler 10-26-2011 03:29 AM

Thanks for passing on the info - I'll be watching!

betsymjeff 10-26-2011 10:09 AM

Love, Love, Love Bonnie's Mysteries. I have made several of them. I love scrappy quilts and they are very easy to follow. Use up lots of scraps. Of course, it sure doesn't look like it. I think the scraps keep growing. hahaha
