in Washington you can transfer plates to a new vehicle.

Used to be you could transfer the plate to your next car. Of course I've not purchased a plate for Indiana for 20+ years.

In Indiana, the plate is dead after your change cars. You can get the same one back after a year or so

If I could have one I think it would be LV2QLT. But I have disabled vet tags so that one is out for me.

Beauty ring on my car says "Road tripping to another Quilt Shop". It was a birthday present from a quilting friend of mine. Have had some interesting conversations with quilters in parking lots and have made some good friends because of that GIFT !!! Needless to say, I always take it with me if I am sell the car.

I'm not familiar with CA laws, but in this neck of the woods, the plate wasn't any good after you sold it. My daughter kept her plates WMNFLY on her car for a long time, but gave it up after she left NH, although she's still working at airports.

Mine is QUILTZ!
