I had a Raggedy Ann doll when I was younger. My brother tore off her legs and threw her under my bed. Mom performed surgery on her and she was back to her old self soon after.

Love your Raggedy Ann! I have made many... first for my nieces and then for my own children when they were small. I have the pattern and you have inspired me to maybe pull it out and make another doll after all these years.
Thanks for sharing your photo! |
Love Raggedy Ann, been looking for the pattern, my great grand daughter is one this month and I want to make her one, where did you find the pattern? You did a great job on her also.

My husband's aunt gave me a Raggedy Ann which must have been made from that pattern. She was sitting on a small chair in my living room and my granddaughter age 2 "discovered" her. It was like instant recognition of a friend! Thanks for posting.

I just finished this Raggedy Ann doll for my daughter's first birthday, tomorrow. I love the way she turned out! I wish I had had one just like her when I was young. I used an old 1970s McCall pattern, complete with the embroidered "I love you" on the heart. I am very proud of her and can't WAIT to see my little girl's face when she sees it! :) She is a big Raggedy Ann fan:) I had to keep the pattern face down on my sewing desk or she would want it! Thanks for looking:)

She looks just like the one I had as a little girl. What pattern number did you use?
