WOW! that brings back memories. A friend and I made about 100 of those a "few" years back. Saving them was great of you. Someone put a lot of work into them, and some child really loved them

I just had to add my great job to everyone elses! I saved a Raggedy Ann doll the other day from a yardsale. She just needed to be washed. I gave her to the youngest grand to play with since she was so soft and just his size.

great job, I still have mine that I made 40 years ago
|
I still have mine from the 1950's. Maternal grandma gave me Ann and paternal grandma gave me Andy. I made an Ann for my niece probably 35 years ago and loved seeing the doll take on a personality. They have such sweet faces and makes your remember a more simple, happy time. Someone obviously took great pains to make them and have to believe they would be pleased to see your restoration.

Kudos to you. Love those Raggedies. My daughter had one my Mum got a friend to make. She loved it and took it everywhere. I kept it for years but she had 2 boys. Looks like some child love these two to death also.
