WOW can you say JACK POT?
I got mail today from 4 RAK'ers!!!!!!
AWESOME birthday cards, and gifts. Although I will have to post pics later after dinner. I just couldn't wait to at least say THANK YOU to the following ladies. Sheila-in-Erie sent me an awesome homemade card. sweetwaterquilter sent me an awesome card with a red batik FQ. Ladybug 1938 sent me an awesome card and a homemade coaster. Krystyna sent me a STUFFED padded envelope that had the following: 1) adorable pincushion 2) "happy birthday" party candies 3) 6 FSL embroidery angel confetti 4) a jar of her homemade Wild Beach Plum Jam (hubs has already said he wants to try this). 5) an awesome birthday card AND last (but not least) Everything is so AWESOME and THANK YOU ladies again. I will post pictures later after dinner and clean up is finished. A Tshirt that that she embroidered for me that says "It's NOT About Age, It's About Attitude" |

Today I received my pincushion from Rosemary aks Ladybug and she also sent me some selvages. Ir is alotus pincushion. Will get a pic up later or tommorow as will be a busy day here oday. Have to try and get Bruce out this morning and see if can keep him out all day so can get a pond installed as his anniversary present.
Also got Rakd by Brenda. She sent two fat quarters, machine quilters magazine which I have never seen before an organizing board which she figured I need now that my studio is a disaster again. Think she has been in there looking.Thank yu Brenda for a wonderful RAK. Hoppa |

Here's a little peek at my corner of the world. I'm feeling a little bit of relief today ... at least half of the front garden is almost done. Hubby built planter boxes for me and we covered the area in between with weed mat and mulch. There are two boxes of strawberries, on the side the shrubs are raspberries, black berries and gooseberries. In front of the porch are blueberries and a fig tree. The front boxes have hot peppers, lettuce and zucchini squash. The other side needs work. Lots of it. My herb garden is a mess. But here is the tidy side!

I have asked a couple of times if you have sent the RAK list out yet. I haven't heard from you on either. I could be sending RAK's if I had addresses ;o) I did receive one from Krystna last week, a beautiful embroidered t-shirt & some jelly. Was a very nice gift. |
