Mrs. Mary Davis I would like to thank you for the scraps for me to use in my classes collage box. They will have fun gluing all the bright colors to make their pictures. And all of the recipes and instructions are appreciated also. Again, thank you Mary.

Good Morning!!! We had a little over 1/3" rain last night so I had to use green this morning, because my grass and flowers look great.

Krystyna, hoping you will share the recipe for the raspberry/strawberry/choc jam. My raspberries are just looking good now. Another month and i will "hate" picking them like last year. But Mom loves the jam and then the rest went to a friend who made jelly for all the adult Christmas gifts on the reservation.

Hoping to finish a doll blanket and pillow for cousin's granddaughter today. Then on to the rest of the things on my list.

Have a great day. Be good to you, because you deserve it. Prayers for all of you who are in crisis.

A quick update: i made it to round 2 in the interview process. i have now been escalated to round 3. i will be flying to phoenix on this friday for interviews with company v.p.'s. woo hoo. my computer is infected with a monstrous virus so it's not working as the virus has shut it down (at library right now). i am on my way to get it fixed shortly. my sil had her first chemo today and my brother texted me a thumbs up so i guess all is well with them.

your welcome tedyster. i got another rak mailed today. see yall real soon, after i get my puter fixed.

thanks for the well wishes everyone. i am amidst a cross between being really excited and having a wait see attitude. this interview process leaped into high gear considering that i had the initial phone interview last thursday to flying on an airplane this friday. i have hardly had time to catch my breath.

my today started out like this: 1) so my cell phone decided to stop ringing (and i couldn't here my messages) this weekend and it's the telephone number on my resume so i knew i needed a new phone today. 2) plus i got a computer virus last night after trying to look at the 'get ziggy with it' quilt pattern on an etsy site. the virus totally locked down my computer so that nothing worked. 3) and add to that m sil started her chemo this morning.

so i got up at 6am today to talk to my computer geek brother about what he could do to help with the virus..... his answer 'not much'. then i ran over to radio shack to get my upgrade phone and radio shack was sold out of all the evo phones, not a one. now i have to make a decision on what to get(i know i want an android instead of an iphone...go figure) so no phone today. i am calling friends for advice. now remember my phone doesnt ring so i happened to look down and it was lite up. it was the az company asking could i possibly make it there friday to interview with the vp, mgr and the rest of the tax team. so i couldn't decide on the phone just yet so off to office depot geek squad to see about my computer.

the geek squad said yep you got a virus and it's gonna cost you moolah for us to find and erdicate it. possibly hundreds of moolah. that wasn't gonna work. so i called the crazy computer geek who fixed my last virus and for a total system wipe and reload of my system and ms office $60.00 so in the midst of all this bad and good news, another call from the company to please check my email for the flight choices and get right back to them. so i had to make a mad dash to a library to get on a computer to choose a flight. that done i went home to see if i could save anything before the total system wipe. not happening.

then on to the crazy computer geek to get my system wiped and reset. i have lost absolutely everything. all my files, all my swap records & photos, all my rak info, all my documents, all my pictures, everything. i have a total blank system now with nothing but software on it. okay so now i need to look into some online data storage. all of this because i wanted to look at a quilt pattern last night. so i watched my cumputer lose its identity as my machine.

then back to communicating with my db to make sure my sil was still hanging well from her chemo. he said they are staying in a hotel so she can relax.

so i just saw my flight arrangements to phoenix. it is a 3 hr direct flight from here. i have a direct flight there and a 5 hr flight back. i will spend a whole 8+ hrs on a plane this friday for 3 hrs of interviewing. something to look forward to.

now i am back home after a fun filled day trying to figure out just waht i lost that i really need and may never get back. oh well what can you do? computers and viruses.

HavPlenty -- that computer stuff totally stinks. I have some stuff backed on on a flash drive but I don't do it often enough. Have considered the on-line backup myself. My husband is a writer and so many things he has just on the computer. Guess I'll back everything up now!

Good luck with the interview.
