I read "The Help" and "Sarah's Key" last summer. Wonderful reads, right now I'm into Philippa Gregory and her Plantagenet series. Just finished "The White Queen".

I am reading "Caught". It has so many twists in it. So far so good.

Just finished "The Aloha Quilt" by Jennifer Chiavernie. So far I have all Elm Creek Quilt books and am reading them for a second time. Easy to read and enjoyable.

I recently read "The Book Thief." I could hardly put the book down. The book took place during WWII and was told from the perspective of death, himself. He follows the life of a little German girl who watches her brother die, her mom desert her, and her foster parents take in a jew and hide him in their basement. It is a phenomenal perspective of that period of time.

Anything by Pat Conroy, he is wonderful! I sure am glad I am not related to him though, he writes about his family (thinnly veiled), egads. Prince of Tides, Beach Music, The Great Santini, ect, ect.

I read The Bronze Horseman earlier this year, a great read it was set in Leningrad during the Nazi invasion. Not a feel good book, to be sure, but very interesting.

I recently finished The Aloha Quilt by Jennifer Chiaverini and Tempted (the 6th House of Night novel) by Cast. Currently I am reading Wedding Ring by Emilie Richards and When I Stop Talking, You'll Know I'm Dead by Jerry Weintraub.

I love the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I just finished her most recent one "An Echo in the Bone".
