A really good book.

The Bees: A Novel by Laline Paull

The main character is a worker bee. I'll never look at bees the same way again even if it is fiction. :)

Watch for a Kindle sale for $2.

I'll look for it. Right now, I'm reading The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry and loving it.

To be honest I lost interest half way though this book but finished it because my friend loved it and gave it to me to read. At least I could discuss it with her and that was worth reading it.

Another really good book - The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. Recommended by a lady in book club, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I just finished reading MRS LINCOLN'S DRESSMAKER, and I was really impressed. It is definitely an historical novel, but it is also an eyeopener. The quilt in this book is interesting

I'm going to look for "The Bees". Since we are talking about good books, I just finished one called "The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating". The title was just too interesting to not read the blurb, and it was quite intriguing. I put it on my Amazon Wish List and my wonderful son bought it for me for my birthday. It is about a woman who has contracted a virus and cannot move much, but must lie down all day and night. A friend brings her a potted violet and picks up a snail while delivering it to the patient. She begins to watch the snail and learns about the habits of snails. I know, it sounds boring, but it really was interesting. The reviews are high.
