It just figures, I get my sewing maching out, start chain piecing for a wallhanging border and surprise... it is acting up! Skipped stitches, breaking needle, clumps of wadded thread underneath and the light bulb blows! Really? I really didn't need it! Still have to get my dress and mog dress done for DD's wedding! And some gifts! I don't do well with mechanical things so I have to wait for a friend to be unbusy so she can help me get it straightened out. DH is great with cars but has no clue when it comes to my sewingmachine. GRRR!

oh no, did you get it fixed yet?
Oh man! Glad u have frieend to help u! Mine moved.
wow, she's not playing nice today, is she???
Clean under the needle plate and bobbin area, drop of oil, run without thread. Totally rethread. Try sewing on a scrap. Good luck!!!

I feel your frustration. I'm not mechanically minded either, and things like this overwhelm me and shuts me down. Hope your friend gets unbusy soon.

When ever that happens to me, I strip my machine, clean it out and rethread and rebobbin it and that usually does the trick. And don't forget to change the needle.......GOOD LUCK!!!!!
