I'm making a pumpkin pie but I don't have any nutmeg. I do have cinnimon, clove and ginger. (No allspice or mace). Do you think it will be ok without it?
Thanks! The oven is on and warming up. lol

Yes, it will be fine. Add a tad more cinnamon and no one will know (smile).

I only put cinnamon in my pumpkin pies. No one has ever complained and I have never had to feed one to the dog :)

It will be just fine! I do this all of the time. Mix it all but eggs, and taste and adjust  :D:D:D

My aunt makes the best pumpkin pie, she does not use nutmegor any other spice.
She adds a little lemon juice. She does use fresh pumpkin.
Any spice that you like will be good.

It will be fine. Cinnamon, clove and ginger are all I use in pumpkin pie. I like the ginger to be more dominant than the cinnamon.

Will be fine!!! I don't use ginger in my pumpkin pies (gives me indegestion)....so I don't use it! By the time everyone gets to the pie, they'll be so full they won't notice...LOL

I also don't like nutmeg in my apple pies so i don't use it - people love it.

We used to use only cinnamon in the pies for the farmer's market.

The pie turned out great. Next time I may do just cinnimon because I LOVE cinnimon!
Thanks everyone for your help.
Pie was dinner was awesome! lol
