If you can, take a moment to read the email written by Sarah Palin about the coming birth of her Down's Syndrome baby, Trig. It has got to be the most thoughtful and beautiful message I have ever read. It is on the Blaze . I found it under a title "A Down's Syndrome Baby Will Expand Your World.

that is very powerful.

Since she spends little time with her children and when she does there are nannies and others caring for them I find this difficult to be moving. Sorry.

We learn what is inside a person when the thoughts and words are written down. There is a lot of substance in what Sarah wrote.

Words are quite powerful.

Yes I have been wondering When she ever spends time with her family. I have not seen them on her bus tour. I appreciate the words, but they seem sort of empty???? when connected with her, or at least connected with my impression of her. Not intended to be super negative, just thinking out loud. Happy Quilting to all and Blessings on those with "special" kids, actually, they are ALL special.

What we see on the outside isn't necessarily what is on the inside of a person. The press is very good at twisting the truth.

Sorry I don't agree with you. Any time a family has a Down Syndrome baby it's hard. At least she didn't abort even though she knew in advance that he would be. As far as nannies and others caring for her children, I wish I had been as blessed when I had my children, although all of them were "normal" what ever normal is, I could have used some time off. She didn't put him in a home which I think is commendable.

Powerful..
Just because a woman works does not mean that she does not not care for her family.
I agree With the above message by Crabby Patty Very well said.
