remember Deere lap robe and question on fleece and cotton
 

I had asked if you could add fleece and cotton together. Got answers yes, and added a broadcloth piece to one end. (I needed to make it longer than the John Deere fleece throw. I am happy to report that I did add it and the different material made it great. It throws over the feet and stays there when the feet are up in a recliner. Thanks every on for the input as usual.

Life is grand when something works out!

I did this to several throws for my father-in-law when he had cancer. His feet were always cold I also doubled the bottom back up and stitched on the sides so it created an envelope effect so it would not slip off.

I made each of the kids and grands one. they all love them.
