I have an oversize pretty flowery sham I thought I would do something with someday. Now I know what. I think I'll cut a long side off and hem it, and seam up the opening, since I have a big sewing machine.

You can also use an old fancy pillowcase to make a neat cover for your sewing machine. Cut the "bottom" off and sew one seam and voila! New, neat, easy cover! Could open the side seam and quilt if you want more body and then resew the side seam.

I have been saving the Wal-mart brand of Crystal Light containers. They are way to good to throw away. Do any of you have a suggestion for what they would be good for?

You could make a hole in the lid and feed elastic, yarn, thread or binding tape through it.
