Repurposed Men's shirt
I have been sorting, destashing, cutting and kitting this week. So when I got to the 3 men's shirts to deconstruct, I decided to look for options as I had a shirt that I just didn't want to cut up. I found this blog with an idea other than just cutting up the shirt for strips and such. If I only had a wool sweater to felt...

Clever, clever, clever and oh so cute! Thanks for the link! Check out your local thrift stores for wool sweaters.

Very nice idea for sure .. I took a man's shirt and turned it into an apron for each one of the older 2 grands .. they loved it ..

I made pillows just like these years ago....for 4-H. I used flannel on the back side then, but now I might try it again with minkie. Thanks for the memories....:)

Great idea for used clothes. I do the envelope back for covers soon much quicker and easier to change out

What a great and time saving tip this is! I have a few pillows to make soon for a friend from her father's ties. She also gave me some shirts so I think I will be using those shirts for the pillow backing. For me, it will be easier to do that than put in a zipper or other closure .... plus she will be happy to have the shirts included. Thanks for this link. (I used to read Betz White's blog all the time.)
