ring top and pull tab help!

I have arthritic in my hands (no pain, just weak) and those ring top and pull tabs on everything like dog food and soda. They are fine, except very difficult for people like me. Besides shredding finger nails! Other than using a pair of needle nose pliers, is there a gadget? I often run the cans through my electric can opener which usually works, but I'm sure there is a gadget!

Millions would be delighted if you can help!

Kitsie ... have just used the end of a fork, spoon or WHY to pry them.

One thing worse ....
those little plastic/foil pull tabs that are on the ends of tubes like toothpaste, salve, etc.
Not enough there for big fingers to get hold of and peel away.
Outright annoying!

I used to laugh at those devices when I saw them but it seems like my hand are getting weaker year by year sooooo ... I might just have to buy one in the not too distant future. Bummer, but happy that someone came up with this idea.

Another good tool for opening the pop tops is a paint can opener, specifically, the kind Lowe’s has that they used to give free with every paint purchase. They still have them but now you have to ask for them and there may be a small cost. Yep, 48 cents

I just use a fork to open them

I got a couple of free ones like the purple "Swatom" opener in Jan's link and have never used them because I didn't know what they were for. Now I know, and will probably use them! Thanks for posting the question!

I have a red and white gadget that came from Campbell's soup many years ago when the pop tops first came into the market. Personally, I cannot understand how they remain on the market because they are dangerous with the raw edges that curl back. It is so easy to get cut with them. I try to avoid them whenever possible.

There is nothing like a good old-fashioned church key to open those cans.
