I got my Rings that Bind book today! I'm so excited! It will be a bit before I get to start on it, but it's here! I've also found out about a local fabric store. This could be dangerous!

In my experience, local fabric stores usually are!! LOL

Happy quilting!

Especially when you start looking at the yardage needed for that pattern!! I love the pattern, but the amount of fabric needed convinced me I need to practice my paperpiecing instead.

Mine is on my shelf waiting for me. First a quilt for my Mom.

My MIL found cheap thread there. Five spools for $1.00. I wouldn't use it to make a quilt but great for basting.

Connecting Threads had their thread on sale 1200 for 1.79.I hope it's still on sale. Connie in CO

Just a word of advice from personal experience ( I took a class from the author) start small. Make 4 and let it be a wallhanging. You might change your mind after 4. If you love the technique and want to go on, then proceed!

Thanks for the advice. I cut up my fabric for a much simpler quilt tonight. I will let that one wait a bit.
