I just read that Pat pasted away on Dec 23rd. She was a very active member of our QB. She will be missed dearly.

How sad to lose one of our own. I went to Pat's profile and saw that she was a swap leader here as well as a regular poster. Since early December she had last spent quite a bit of time in hospital for pneumonia and then again for respiratory failure. Looks like she gave it a good fight.

Very sorry for her family. Rest in Peace, Pat.

Pat was active in the Secret Santa Swap. She was a very optimistic and upbeat person. I wish I'd gotten to know her better. I learned of her passing in December and have thought often of the cute little dog she used as her icon, hoping it's doing well.

So sorry for the family and know she will be missed. We are more fragile than we realize sometimes.

I love this sentiment, Grammahunt! Thanks for that because it must mean that Pat is still "around" her family and anyone else she made a quilt for or with. Makes me smile .... I hope it does the same for her family/friends.
