I grew up watching her with my Mom. I don't watch the show anymore, but I can't imagine the show without her. It must be like loosing family to the other actors.

nativetexan 05-08-2013 04:12 PM

Oh yes, I feel for her son. He was really wanting her to hang on.

Jingle 05-09-2013 06:52 AM

I never heard of her.

Soap Opera show actress. Her son is also an actor. He's a big guy, blond. well, used to have hair. Still cute.

Watched the Young & Restless soap opera from day one. Loved Jeanne Cooper's character "Mrs. C." Her son plays on "Psych". He was also on LA Law. Yes she will be greatly missed by many fans. :(

I used to watch her on Y&R. I hadn't heard that she died. So sorry for her son, Corbin Bernsen, and the rest of her family.

Loved her character when I was able to watch Y&R years ago. Remember when she showed her face lift on the show? Fell in love w/her son on LA Law. Hugs to the family.

I was wondering when she last was on the show. Like some of you, I used to watch the show regularly but haven't for some time. Several on Y and R have been long-timers and, yes, it has to be like losing one of your own family after all these years together.

I watched it for awhile as with many other soaps. Then got married and had to go to work. My sisters and in-laws and nieces tape. But I can tell you when we all get together and they gossip it's about so and so on the soaps. So no harm done. Funny to watch when the guys want to know who they're talking about. Talk shows are starting to sound like soaps now, even Dr. Phil. I have better things to do. But I did like the character, Jeanne Cooper played. She was a feisty broad.

I watched & loved her on Y&R in the 80's. Not so much since 1991, swapped it for Blue's Clues and Sesame Street. I caught it a few months ago, she was there, but most were new characters.

She was old in the 80's when I watched Y&R, EEK.... I am probably close to her age now...

I've watched Young and the Restless for the last 26 years. Jeanne was a great actress and I feel like she was family. She will be missed. RIP indeed.
