We went on a road trip to Missouri this weekend, to sell our mule. We have been looking for a good driving horse and we found one made just for us. Her name is Lilly. She drives anywhere single, double and rides too. We are so fortunate to have found one like her anywhere.

How bad is that sore on her butt? She is a beauty and hope she works out for you.

That on her butt is where the sale number was. They are very hard to remove. They are put on with the toughest darned glue you ever did see. So she is fine....but it does look like a sore....I will work at getting that off this week.

She looks like a Lily, tlc, and yes she could use a little weight loss. :-) I'm glad she got the paint markings but the neck and hind quarters look a little Belgium. Or maybe that is just camera angle.

She is very pretty! We have a variety of show goats and show rabbits, as well as the "normal" fare.

awesome...such a big pretty girl...and apparently LOVES to work!

What a gorgeous girl she is!! I agree that the neck looks Belgian. Lily is a lovely name for her. I wish my horse was broke to drive. I am getting too old to ride much any more. The old bones don't take it well. I would love to be able to drive him.

Yes you ladies sure are right. Her neck does take after the draft part...her head does to but being a mare is refined a bit. She fits her part well. Will be perfect for my DH...I have written a letter and sending pictures to the people who had to sell her. They really wanted to keep her but due to health issues had to let her go. But am glad she has a home with us.

Beautiful horse!
Which part of Missouri did you get her? I'm down here in south central MO.
Lots of mules & horses & activities for both here.

We bought her at the Maryville Horse Sale in Maryville. Not far over the Iowa line...about 3 hour drive for us.
We have realatives in Dixon, Mo. husbands family down there.
