Had to take GD back to her mom today....she'll be back later this summer to finish her quilt. We did a side trip...thought you all might enjoy some pictures of Oregon.

Oh so pretty. I have never been to Oregon but I know I would like it. But not the taxes! LOL

Someone, somewhere did a comparison. We only pay a few $ more than those that have sales tax. Unfortunately, we pay whether we buy or not. I'd LOVE to have a sales tax....then if I can't afford it, I don't buy it! Plus, everyone that comes to visit will pay, too!

Washington doesn't have an income tax, and those that live near the border come shop in Oregon so they don't pay sales tax either...
I'd vote for a sales tax here too! Property taxes are outrageous!
