You never know someones struggles. It broke my heart the hear he had been struggling with depression. One would never consider a man that spent his life make others laugh would have a hard time with inner peace.

So many brilliant people choose to end their own life & struggle with deep depression. Robin was another, he is already greatly missed. He's gone on to other adventures.

So so sad. He was such a talented actor and comedian.

Nanu, Nanu Captain, My Captain. He has left a legacy of work that is as diverse as his was.

The world has an empty spot today. So many in sadness for one who made the world laugh and all the time, inside, he was crying. May he now rest in peace.

He was an alcoholic, this is not uncommon. Always sad, he will be missed greatly.

So sad! He was one of my favorites. Money and success doesn't ensure happiness. He will be missed. Bless his family.

I knew Robin struggled with mental health issues, but naively I thought with his money,
he would have some of the best doctors,...but doctors are not omnipotent.
I didn't know I believed he would never go.
He just seemed so much bigger than life.
Along with prayers for his family, I hope the research for manic depression and
adhd forges ahead and makes great strides, so understanding and acceptance
of those that suffer will grow.

I grew up watching his comedy; he reminded me very very much of my father's best friend. Similar wacky sense of humor, similar appearance, even. Weirdly, similar struggles in life - both passed from suicide.

I'm sorry to see you go, Funny Man.

He was the same age a me, and I understand his struggles for I too have struggled with depression for many years as a result of a bad experience that threw me into PTSD like symptoms and depression. That was 10 years ago. :(
