Well, problem solved! Called the dealer where I purchased the BL and asked if there was a rolled hem foot for it. She asked if I had a serger...my reply, yes, not a BL, but a Viking, and have had for over 10 yrs, used maybe 5 times.....she said come over tomorrow morn and bring it...will be done in no time Did, after she re threaded with thin proper color thread( that's what I cannot do) and set for rolled hem...it worked for a bit, broke thread...so she grabbed her BL on, set me up, and away I went! She did say if one does not use a serger on a regular basis, it can be a challenge! I have a manual ...maybe I'll try doing ..........bottom line bridesmaid dress hem done......

Check out this link. http://www.sewcountrychick.com/make-...sheer-fabrics/ I've not done this, but I helped with alterations at a Cinderella's Closet, and the leader of our team showed us this method.

Yes this is how I hemmed my daughters prom gown many years ago and it is the simplest way of doing a hem on a thin fabric.
