If you have Roseaca....how do you handle
keeping it under control? How long does it
take you to get it under control?

I have had a RED skin tone to me since day one. People will say "Oh you have been in the sun or to the beach." I just nod and say yes...... My brothers ans father are the same way.

I PM'd you.

That's what I do too-seems like nothing really works for me. The antibiotics help with the painful redness I get in the winter. I also use the topical cream but don't know if it really works.

Metro gel and cream never helped me. Only antibiotics as needed.

I never had acne as a teen...but about 8 years ago..bam..rosacea. I tried everything under the sun. The dermatologist gave me a perscription for an antibiotic foam to apply at night. Wow does it work! I also use a facial scrub once a week. I wash my face with Safeguard soap two times a day. It isn't completely gone, there are break outs at times. Hope you find relief.
Peace and Blessings,

I pretty much ignore it. Mine really flares up when I drink redwine and guess what my favorite is - yep, redwine.

I have it. It's mild I guess, broken blood vessels and very dry patches. The dermatologist I saw wasn't much good so I just try to stay away from triggers and keep my skin moisturized.

It's flaking now so I'll be going back to Ponds cold cream, which is supposed to be horrible but it really helps me.

I have to stay on a antibiotic so keep mine in control.
I went to several Dr. and a specialist, nothing helped but the med.
