Santa shops at Joann's

My husband gave me $200.00 to spend at JoAnn's for my Christmas gift. And there was an extra gift waiting for me under the tree. A set of clamps for my longarm and a 2 1/2 x 6 1/2 ruler with my logo on it. Santa delivered my husband's present earlier this month, a new tractor and he also received a new rifle too.

I got my first set of Gingher scissors and a sharpening stone, a couple of wall hanging kits, some odds and ends for my sewing room, a new sewing basket, a sock knitting loom to make my own funky socks, 2 quilting books, and a few scrap-booking items.

The last picture is a lock for my new shears, to keep the cat from using them.

What a great DH, he's a keeper, although it seems like Santa was good to him too. My kids, in addition to several presents I'd asked for gave me a $35 gift card to JoAnn's, I know I'll have fun with it. I used to think gift cards were a way to get shopping over without a lot of thought, but I've changed my mind, it's great to be able to spend the money any way you want and have fun while you're doing it. What a great Christmas present, and love what you decided to get with your card.

I love, love, love your scissors lock!!! I'm trying to figure out an ironing board and quilting table lock for my little quilting buddy (meow...). You did some great shopping!

Lucky you! What is a stitch piercer?

It is kind of like a rotary cutter with gaps, it puts holes in your fabric so you can crochet edging on, etc.

Wow, you did good, congrats! Didn't know they made a sock loom, with have to check it out! Also the stone for the Ginghers, I have a pair, but never thought of looking for a sharpening stone!
