By the time I get notices, there may be several pages of responses to a topic.
But I've noticed, when I've posted something, there are members who reply before my "ink" gets dry, so to speak!!
How are they getting such instant notice of these postings?

I've looked all over for some kind of setting, but can't seem to figure it out.

Is there another way to get postings besides by email? I mean, can one read the postings "live" on here as they are submitted?

Hmmmm???

At the top of the screen is the unread topics section. I use that to see what everyone is posting , is that what you are talking about ?

Rather than waiting for an email notice ---
You can go directly to www.quiltingboard.com, you can even bookmark the page so you can find it easily. Then login with your user name and password.

Then you can check the "Unread Topics" ... that's the topics you haven't read and that's where they are available first.
It's in the middle of the 2nd row of links at the top.

Hope that helps.

If you want to see what is going on with topics you have responded to go to "My Watched Topics" and that will have the top 50(?) posts that you have answered
