Someone at work forwarded me this today. You can find someone by name, and I mean a LOT about someone.

You are supposed to be able to set Privacy settings (WAAAYYY at the bottom in tiny print Privacy) but, I tried and it just keeps saying that in order to prevent abuse they have to limit the number of privacy requests. Please try again later.

Well after checking it out I can tell you it is not accurate!
It says my parents have no children and alot of other things that were off the mark. The information is quite old as the children it lists living with me it also list living elsewhere! It will give you an address but those are not accurate either from what I saw. I really wouldn't worry too much about it. I went to another search engine and found a girlfriend from high school that I lost track of about 20 years ago. It gave her address and I mailed her a note. WE also found a relative when my BIL passed away.

Wow - that is scary - they have my birthday wrong, but everything else is pretty darn close. I really don't like that they tie into google earth and show a picture of my house. I checked a few other relatives, and it was really close, too.

It doesn't have me listed. I wouldn't worry about it.

I also found inaccurate information. And the Google Earth photos aren't that accurate either. But it is kind of scary. I have a fairly common name but it came right up.

I found everyone I searched on and it was pretty accurate. It has my info, that I am head of household, that my daughter lives with me and her name (she moved out last year) and shows a picture of my house. I looked up my brother and sisters and it's accurate, if not close enough.

If that's not enough to be concerned about then I don't know what is.

I just looked up my daughter, who lives just outside Atlanta. They have her, her husband and one son (she has two) listed as living at two different houses, one is four times more valuable than the other, and it isn't her picture that is shown!

It is a directory.....and not a very good one at that. The information it has on me is wrong....my children no longer live with me and the picture of our house was taken years ago. So it is very outdated information.

As far as Google Earth goes anyone with your address can pinpoint and get pretty close to seeing your house.

It was waaaay off on me and my husband didn't exist. The only thing it had right on me was that I like to read. Didn't even list quilting as a hobby, doesn't know me too well!

Interesting. Everyone I know lives in a $1,000,000 + house in a below average neighborhood. Much of the other stuff was fairly accurate. All the addresses were correct.
