enjoy your berck. i know i could never face your jab. i had enough trouble dealing with the chaos when i was still attending school so i really respect the work and dedication of all teachers.

Friday, the 17th was my last day. I drive a special needs bus. and I was so glad to turn in my keys. We start back after Labor Day. Enjoy the summer.

I feel I am very fortunate to have my summers off, but I know that looking forward to summer is what gets me through some of the rough times during the rest of the school year, especially May. I love my job and love my students, but 7th graders can be challenging at times with all the drama, hormones, etc. Never a dull moment and you alway have to be "on."

Funny you should mention it. I was working a garage sale with my Mother in Law this weekend and what do you think could be found on the "Collectables" table. You guessed it. S&H Green Stamps. It was fun to see them again.

Congrats! I have kids for 1 1/2 more days, then work through Thursday. Spent a large part of the weekend packing up part of my classroom and working on report cards. I had a particular challenge this year (student) so I am really looking forward to some r and r. Spending time on my MQ is a goal for the summer...need to put some serious time in to get better.
