While cleaning my bathroom with Scrubbing Bubbles, I had a couple of figurines that needed cleaning. They have small spaces that get dirty/dusty and nothing reaches to clean them. For some reason I sprayed them with Scrubbing Bubbles. I let them sit for awhile and then rinsed. Low & Behold - the small spaces were clean. The action of the bubbles did scrub them clean. Ah, Yes, we truely are the Mother of Invention.

Have tried this too, and loved the results.

janRN 12-19-2010 02:46 PM

My white refrigerator has a textured surface and I sprayed it with Scrubbing Bubbles and it cleaned itself practically!

M.E.H. 12-19-2010 02:53 PM

OH, I love this idea. Thank you. :-D

Corky 12-19-2010 02:54 PM

i love Scrubbing Bubbles, too.

Another great product is the magic eraser. Love it!

Rosyhf 12-19-2010 03:03 PM

I use that too. I have discovered the new ones where it has a trigger and all you have to do is press on it and it pumps itself and shoots out....and you just replace the empty bottle and keep the top part.

Corky 12-19-2010 03:18 PM

I like that idea, seems like it would cut costs considerably, not to mention waste.

I have been using that too for a long time. I take my mini blinds in the kitchen and put them in the tub and spray both sides and let it sit. Just rinse them off and they sparkle. Best part no scrubbing. I love this stuff. Thanks for the tip on the figurines.

Colorful Quilter 12-19-2010 03:24 PM

I LOVE the magic eraser but now will try the scrubbing bubbles too, thanks all for the info!!

prezzy 12-19-2010 03:26 PM

Thanks will put this on my to buy list.

pojo 12-19-2010 03:29 PM

I use the scrubby bubbles on my ceiling fan blades too.

CarrieAnne 12-19-2010 03:31 PM

Thanks, I will try it!

redquilter 12-19-2010 05:17 PM

I use it all the time for my tubs but never thought to use it elsewhere. Thanks for all the hints. Who knew? Love Magic Eraser too!

QazyQltr 12-19-2010 05:25 PM

Added to my shopping list!! Thanks for heads up.

craftybear 12-19-2010 09:20 PM

Guess I need to give this product a try! Seems to clean most everything. I hate to clan mini blinds. Ugh!

sandpat 12-20-2010 07:11 AM

Oh gosh....I HATE scrubbing blinds, I am soooo gonna try this on my blinds, thanks!

lovingmama 12-20-2010 07:16 AM

Who wants to clean and scrub, if you can quilt.

Thank God for scrubbing bubbles!

Pickle 12-20-2010 07:24 AM

Scrubbing bubbles, I was cleaning the bath room one day and noticed a few spots on my carpet in the hall way so I gave them a squirt of the scrubbing bubbles and they cleaned up very nice.

Scrubbing Bubbles also cleans those dusty silk flower arrangements and trees. Just don't get it on the brass or metal containers. It will make streaks on them.

Great idea! I'm going to try this. I can't get those little divits clean to save my soul.

amma 12-20-2010 10:50 AM

Thank you :D:D:D

Marge L. 12-20-2010 04:39 PM

Don't believe I've ever used the Bubbles. Will it work as well on the textured surface of the refrigerator? I usually use Magic Eraser.

I am so jacked to try this...thanks!

Lynnc 12-20-2010 05:45 PM

My grandmother told me to use Scrubbing Bubbles to clean hair brushes and combs. Take hair out first.

Lynnie25 12-20-2010 05:57 PM

Either I don't clean enough or Scrubbing Bubbles is just a USA thing :( Sounds a fantastic product to have though, saves cleaning time so more sewing can be done.

Jo Belmont 12-20-2010 06:30 PM

Where's my shopping list?

QuiltswithConvicts 12-20-2010 06:52 PM

Scrubbing Bubbles also is a GREAT de-greaser!!!! I don't know what's in it, but it makes short work of cleaning the cook top and surrounding areas. I use if for general cleaning in the kitchen & bathroom.

Love this idea to clean mini blinds. Mine are so dirty because I didn't know an easy way to clean them.
Thank you.

grannie-k 12-21-2010 09:07 AM

I get extra coupons when they come out and can get a really good deal at walmart on the new scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner 3.00-4.00 and when it's empty take the batteries out of the sprayer head and they are still good for clocks and such. I love scrubbing bubble products.

ORSunshineQuilter 12-21-2010 10:52 AM

Well, this will age me properly but I have loved Scrubbing Bubbles since it first came on the market in the 1960s! I use it for everything! It makes cleaning so effortless.

sewgray 12-22-2010 06:00 PM

Sabrina Soto on HGTV cleaned fireplace bricks with it. Who knew?

Anyone remember the 1000 uses for Avon's Skin So Soft? After reading some of the uses - I never used it again! Using it as a mosquito repelant kinda scared me away from it. Coca-Cola is the same way. The latest one I've heard for Coke was to help diminish Kidney Stones! It's the high acid level in it! Wonder what it's doing to our stomachs?

Pickle

Wow - it took out those coffee stains on the runner.

Chigger Holler Quilter 12-28-2010 03:37 PM

If you can find it the Lysol tub and tile cleaner is just (in my opinion) a step ahead of scrubbing bubbles. I haven't been able to find it lately so scrubbing bubbles has become my "second" favorite! I use it everywhere....:)

In the 1980s my FIL had a truck driver who kept road grime off his windshield by pouring on Coke..or maybe Pepsi too. Then he wiped it off and it cleaned it nicely. Took off grime and summer bugs.
