I sure hope nobody got killed off because the characters are all sooooo good. Love, love Ducky but let's face it he is getting up in years & perhaps this series is getting to be a bit too much for him. Sure hope not. It is such a good show as is NCIS L.A. I do think that some of the shows that were cancelled are so much better than some of the reality "crap" that is on tv these days. Doesn't make much sense to me but at least some of my favorites got renewed. At least that is MHO.

Guess we are pretty much on the same page about it. I'm not as crazy about NCIS LA - they get too outlandish on that one, though I like the characters, especially Hetty. It's clearly targeted at a younger audience, though. What I'm really going to miss are all my nutty friends on Wisteria Lane. I loved that show. So great that the old lady saved the day on her own last. I'm sure her little white lie won't keep her from the pearly gates. My other favorite is Bones.

I read that "CSI: Miami" had been cancelled.

Oh shoot i didn't see it!! I like that show. several t.v. shows have been cancelled but they tend to keep the idiotic ones!!

I didn't like it much either. I thought the "bad news" Ducky got was just going to be that NCIS had been destroyed; then he has a heart attack! Although I wondered if they were going to write him out of the show when on one of the episodes a couple of months ago, he seemed troubled and then asked Gibbs to be executor of his estate. I thought "uh oh"! It won't be the same if any of the main characters are gone although "Jennie" "Frank" and "Kate" were killed off.

I can't seem to get into NCIS: LA...seems like they don't do as much military crime.

I watch all the NCIS reruns on USA most days. I can watch them over and over. Oh well, guess we have to wait until September!!

Nana....I too watch NCIS on USA...esp marathons on weekends. I get sooo much sewing done. DH and I love the show and usually know what the show is about on USA within 10 sec of seeing the intro. He said if Ducky is off..he won't watch next year. Wanna bet?

David McCallum is eight years younger than my husband and Scottish. so he could most likely go on for quite a bit longer. I hope so. I just don't like watching his work in his "room". too much of that on t.v. for me. But then, i'm old!

Duckie will be back.....he renewed his contract with CBS http://www.tvfanatic.com/2012/05/dav...ion-with-ncis/

I love Harry's Law, I will be sad to see it go. They have changed focus since the beginning, but still dealing with issues. I dont care for that new blond lawyer.

As for NCIS, I guess a big shake up. I dont like Jamie Lee Curtis's character, she seems to not be sincere and upfront. What is she hiding. And now they have introduced her son. I dont like her for a romantic partner to Gibbs. I think the main ones, Gibbs, Abby, Zeba, Tony and McGhee will be back. As for Ducky, he may wish not to renew because of age. I had to tell my kids about him as the dashing lead years ago in Man from Uncle.
