Secret Santa Gifts for a stranger

The limit was $20. Do you think these are enough? Should I add a little something else?
She is not a quilter.

This is perfect. Beautiful bag!

If you had to buy that bag alone it would be more than 20.00. I think she will love it. The little Santa is very cute .

The bag makes it all!

I think anyone would be happy with what you have made/chosen! A great gift!

DebraK 11-20-2012 09:48 AM

Thanks everyone. I decided to throw a tin of some homemade toffee in there. That should be enough.

Lisa_wanna_b_quilter 11-20-2012 09:52 AM

I think those will be fine. People really join those things to make friends, not to get a haul of loot. You've already put more time and energy into than most people will.

nativetexan 11-20-2012 12:54 PM

but you are a quilter, so yes those items will be enough. very nice indeed!!

I love that blue patchwork bag. That is worth way more than $20.00 to me. Nice gifts.

Lovely....I was just going to suggest a little candy...

Looks fine to me. The Santa is darling and the bag is very pretty. Topped off with homemade candy! That's quite a haul. :)

Very nice. I would be happy to receive such a nice gift.

Looks like more than $20.00 to me.
Wiil you share the pattern did you use for the bag? Love it!

DebraK 11-21-2012 08:04 AM

It's a smaller version of the Mondo Bag by Quiltsmart. Except for time, it really is under $20 ;-)

The Mondo bag is a great idea. I have 2 - and the pattern. Maybe I'll give one next year. I LOVE them. You might think about some little things - thread, needles, pins.

DebraK 11-21-2012 10:29 AM

She doesn't sew. That would have been easier ;-)

The bag alone is worth more than $20. Great job!

Even at minimum wage, your time to make the bag is worth more than $20.

Greenheron 11-25-2012 12:39 PM

The bag alone is adorable....altogether a great gift.

maryb119 11-25-2012 05:14 PM

The blue bag is a perfect gift! I'm sure she will love it.
