May we all pause tomorrow and take a moment to remember all who lost their lives that day. :(

I go To The Sea To Breathe 09-10-2011 02:43 PM

Our 51st anniversary is Sept 11th. It just hasn't had the same feelings, it does make us so glad that we are alive and together, but on the other hand, such saddness ten years ago. We are a military family, my Dad 28 yrs and my DH 22 yrs. And I just feel for all the young men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country so that we can continue to live in freedom, but we must stay active and have a voice because we are in danger of losing so many rights. Today I received an email that they have put out a possible order that all military chaplins may no longer us "Jesus" in their services. I pray for our country and the families who have lost loved ones in the Towers on 9-11 and who have lost military loved ones. There are so many things we can do to help and I am so proud to be a part of this group that seems to be so ready to help anywhere their help is needed. God Bless

Civilian here that can not express the horror of that day. My cousin Bucky (Boyce) was working at the Pentagon. My flight to Denver to visit with my daughter was cancelled. This was a national horror story, but the USA still stands proud and strong.

Yes, May God Bless the USA ALWAYS!

Every year since I started blogging, I dedicated this weekend to a 9-11 post. This year, I decided to simply post my entire 9-11 photo album and writing from that time. http://wp.me/p37zo-lo ...This link will take you to it, as will the link under my name, the personal blog.

Be aware its long and its emotional and ...as a NY'r on that day, well, I just today, still, the horror....

Not ever to be forgotten...
