A member of this board asked for serger projects. Here is the Janome web page that has directions for serging pumpkins. I didn't follow the directions exactly. I didn't put cardboard on the bottoms. I cinched the top and bottom separately, then connected the top to the bottom with doubled thread straight through the center after stuffing.

The photo shows 4 that I did. I did not put the faces on the pumpkins. On the first and third pumpkins I used wooly thread and on the other two I used regular serger thread. The wooly fills in and has a much better appearance.
