Serger Question

I bought the Baby Lock Enlighten Serger. Love it. My question is, is there a site or forum that anyone knows about where I can get great tips and ideas for projects. Something like this wonderful group on the forum.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Peggy

Looks like there are a few listed on Google:

I don't get along with my older Baby Lock. I should never have bought it.

I'd recommend Babylock itself. They used to put out extra manuals for almost everything sold. Pictorial and really good, but very expensive. I have the one one serger feet as my Cover stitch uses the fancy feet the larger machines use. Babylock also has free projects for just about all. Here's the serger:

(Just take off the serging/part of the address to see all available)

The embroidery and quilting (together) section is fantastic.

Nancy Zieman is a Babylock dealer, but doesn't show it on website or catalog as you can only buy Babylock from a dealer. But her book is also pictorial and step by step with feet and threading. She has a few things to make, also.

I haven't seen Jenny Doan, but I think they are Babylock dealers, too.

For BABYLOCK serger questions, I belong to the baby lock yahoo group. Lots of info there. For projects, serger websites are a good source....check out all the braND sites. Nancy Z. Has books and dvd's too. Ready set serge is a good one to start with....

You can go to Nancy Z's web site and she has some shows on how to make things on the serger. I have a Babylock 418 3 thread from the 1980's. Still use it. Have a 4 thread Janome I haven't used much, no room to set it up. Sewed many clothes, including children's on the babylock

Yes, Brother. I take serger classes and most of the projects come from there. Plus, you tube, and Nancy Z has shows and you tube vidoes on it. I've been amazed at all of the different things we've made in class. We do the whole project on the serger. Our teacher says that even though some of the stuff could be done on a regular machine, we're in a serger class so we'll do it all on the serger. Love it and it just makes me want to make more

You mean it is possible to do something with the arm machine besides curse it? I find it a pain to do anything other than finish seams and I sew them first!
