Serging Around Curves

This morning I watched a terrific Sewing with Nancy video and really loved this idea, but I'd like to try it with chiffon or satin. Problem - when I try serging curves the stitching tends to separate from the fabric. Any ideas?

I know what you mean, try going slowly and shove it in there

I'll try and will report back!

Just found a tutorial. Linny was right - no need for speed! http://www.makeithandmade.com/2012/0...ge-curves.html

Perhaps if you used a stabilizer on the fabric it would stop fraying.

I experienced that also. Going slow and making sure your fabric is in line as it is on the straight sewing. I actually stop every few stitches to make sure I have the fabric in the right position.
