I didn't realize how true it was until I was grown and the boss asked me to write up a space analysis for some warehousing that we were doing. When I turned it in he said, "No, this isn't what I want. Instead of averaging the costs and the income, use the highest of the cost figures and the lowest of the income figures so that I can show that we need to get out of the contract we're in or raise our fees."
