I have not been on the board for a few weeks now. I volunteer to set up and sell at the local animal shelters rummage sale (twice a year) , and that takes a full week of long days. Then I need more time afterwards to return my neglected home and me back to normal. While I was at the rummage sale, another volunteer wanted to have a church painted on one of the roof slates rescued from a previous fire that damaged the church badly. So I just finished up the slate, but am thinking about painting another one on the reverse. Generic church..she didn't provide me with a photo of the real church. Thank goodness for that. I had a hard enough time getting this finished..
Thanks for looking. Serita |
Very nice painting of an old country church. Looks similar to the one I grew up in.

Beautiful !!! Our original Presbyterian church here in small town Ontario looked like that about a 150 yrs ago. It
burned down and then rebuilt in new location. Had our 165 yr anniversary last Oct. Kathleen now in Bobcaygeon, ON, Canada |

I really like your church painting and the slate tile is a perfect object to pain on. It just is so perfect because little towns all across the continent had churches that had similar looks to yours. I would like that hanging in my home.
