Shrug for my granddaughter
 

[ATTACH=CONFIG]617436[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]617437[/ATTACH]This is the shrug that I made my new granddaughter from Sewbizgirl's recent post. It's called Muti Lynn and was fun to make. The buttons are Beatrix Potter that I bought quite awhile ago "for the future" !!! :)

Our precious Arden Leigh was born September 12. 7 lbs 9 oz.

The shrug, sweater is gorgeous! And your GD is absolutely perfect! Just the right size to wear such a beautiful sweater.

Susie and I have been on the same grandbaby countdown -- Leon Mateo came into the world on September 10, a week or so late and after 35 hours of trying he finally arrived via c-section. Here is me and Leon :) with my son in the background. Mom has said all along it was going to be one and only and the labor did nothing to change her mind.

Beautiful baby boy, Iceblossom!! Sleeping babies always look so peaceful. Don't worry, I think most new moms say "never again!" right after delivery . :D In time she will forget how hard it was. Hopefully DIL is getting some rest and feeling better soon. Congratulations on being a new Grandma!!!

Congratulations Susie and Iceblossom ! Thank you both for sharing pictures of those beautiful babies! Our youngest grandson is almost 8 years old and the oldest just turned 24. Love them all dearly, of course, but I do miss those baby days. So sweet.

Please advise me on the Muti Lynn pattern. I would love to try this pattern. I can knit and purl and have done a lace stitch, but only have knit scarves and throws. This would be my first attempt at making a knit project that someone would wear. Where is the pattern available please. ...and thank you for sharing! :)

copycat- the pattern is on the Love's Crafts website and it's called Muti Lynn. It offers a variety of sizes. I made it larger because they grow out of newborn so fast. Let me know if you can't find it but I think you will. And thank you for the comments!

I can get them right side up by right clicking on the picture. A box comes up with "Open image in new tab." Left click on that and a new tab appears at the top of the screen. Left click on that tab, and the picture comes up right side up. Most of the time! I feel so much better when I can look at pictures right side up.

Susie and Iceblossom, oh my goodness! I am so happy for you both! Those babies are just beautiful and altogether loved beyond measure. There is absolutely nothing like being a grandmother.

Now you've gone and made me miss my grandlambs all over again! We find out what the next one is at a gender reveal party Oct 11. (My husband said to me,"A gender reveal party? What gender are you going as?" Such a goofball.
