If my DH came home and the house was clean, dishes were done and put away, I was in a dress and wearing makeup, he'd walk out the door and check the house number. Sure couldn't be ours!!

I had a good laugh. This reminds me of my aunt who was born in 1915. She always wore dresses and heels even when she cleaned the house. I can’t imagine.

LOL Ginger! Same here. Plus if I had to clean the house, do the dishes, put on makeup, fix my hair and get dressed up, I'd never have time to sew!
