I took some pics of our front yard so that I could share our weather with you. It has been raining off and on since early Sunday morning.

I know it is cold and I feel bad for you, but I think it looks really neat!

yep...been there in 2009... hated the way it damaged almost all our trees.
beautiful. During your ice storm in December our Kidos were in IA, and involved in a serious car accident near St Joesph's, they had wonderful treatment at the hospital. Great Iowans!
that is bad i hate ice
Those are beautiful! I would love to be there snuggled in a warm quilt by a cozy fire. They actually make me miss my childhood home in Ohio.
Burrrrr! I love the pictures.
it looks so pretty
But, it looks so pretty....Here we have 10 in of snow last nite!
YUCK! I hate ice storms. Beautiful to look at, yes, but sheer white knuckle terror if you have to be outside in that. Doesn't matter if you are on foot or in a car it is equally trecherous both ways and does so much damage to trees and power lines. I sure hope that isn't coming our way.

oh those pics are so pretty. cold, but pretty!
Lookis just like outside our home--- ice and more snow moved in today (Indiana).
Your photos are beautiful! Just be careful and stay inside and sew.
Ice can be so pretty...thanks for sharing the pictures!
We got 11.4" of snow...and lots of wind blowing so lots of drifts. Thankfully, I have someone to snowplow my driveway, but still had to do a couple of hours of shoveling this evening. |
I hope this is your last blast of winter this season!! We are all ready for spring!
Lovely pictures, but the cold must be terrible. And I hope that your birds enjoy the feed, if they can get to it through the fence of ice cycles!
