Yeah, and you have the hottest, most humid summers I've ever experienced!!! LOL  Our snow is gone, we now have 70 degree days again!

Wow!!! If it snows, will there be damage to the boat???

They are talking snow tomorrow night for us. Just a little (I hope). DGD will love it.

Aww Cathy! Come out and play!! :) :)

Our dogs are now in training to break the world's record for the fastest peeing session. I will let you know if they qualify for the Olympic try-outs.
This summer the big dog 'accidentally' whizzed on the little one. I hope it doesn't happen when it's freezing outside..... it could be a bit of a disaster for little Mr. Murphy :) :) :) :) :)

Mine will just have to keep going outside. I am not changing the litterbox after a 75-pound German Shepherd has used it...

And that's why we have cats!!! Cleaning up poop from a big dog is not my idea of retirement! LOL

I just heard on another forum that Wyoming got 16" of snow last week!

tlrnhi 10-10-2009 05:59 PM

That's why we are not getting a dog until hubby retires. I don't scoop dog poop! Don't do litter boxes either, that's why I have kids! lol

16 inches? WOOHOO!!!

littlehud 10-10-2009 06:19 PM

It did snow here last night. Just enough to cover the ground, but it melted off the sidewalk and street right away. If it has to snow this was as close to perfect as it could be. No snow or ice on the streets and I didn't have to shovel, but it looked pretty.

We have had snow this weekend and it is currently 13 degrees and the weather service felt the need to share that it actually feels like 4 degrees. What is that about?
Oh, and on a bit of funny note, there is a golf course right next to one of our very busiest streets. Their sprinkler system went off automatically, and then one of the sprinkler heads promptly froze and broke, so the water was shooting off onto the street until it froze into an arc. We are now sponsoring a new sport- ice skating in an SUV. Not sure what cash prizes the car insurance companies will be giving out :) :) :) :)

Now THAT would be a Kodak moment!!! Can you get pictures???

lol, that would be funny... I mean for us.

We have not had snow yet, but it has gone down below freezing overnight a few times. Two years ago, we got SO much snow that there was nowhere left to put it once it was removed from the streets. I'm not even kidding, we have HUGE snow dumping sites and pits that are as far as the eye can see and they were full. We're not allowed to dump the extra snow in the lakes and rivers anymore because we use salt on the roads, not sand. There was one place by the highway that had a mountain of snow still there in JULY, in 30 degree (celcius) weather. I'm not even joking!

We had the same problem here!!!

I know I'm late in seeing this, but when I saw snow in the title, I had to peek to see if it was someone from my home area. I've had all kinds of pics of snow in the last week from friends and family. I live in South Texas now, but I'm from Bend. I miss the snow a lot, but even I do not relish snow this early in the year.

auntiehenno 10-22-2009 12:43 PM

Oh, yes, snow is beautiful EXCEPT it came too early in Denver - Oct 8 and more this week. think it is melting some today. Glad I am retired.
