I had gone out with my broom and tried to knock or brush some off (22 trees), took be about 1-1/2 hour. (Unfortunately, DH had falled on Friday and has a badly sprained ankle. He is still hobbling.) The bad thing about the weight of the snow, is that the trees have not dropped their leaves. Many of our farmers have corn standing waiting for the kernels to dry enough to be harvested (for animal feed). If taken in too soon they will mold. Today we are melting. |
I've heard you were getting dumped on back there, we have only gotten our first snow today, and it's only an inch or so. Haven't looked in the forecast for what is to come...

The weather is beautiful here, but we ssure could use some rain.

Sorry to say this.....I'm glad it's in the east and not gracing the ground here in MN!! : )

That's too bad seems way toooooooo early. We had trick or treating today and the kids were doing it in a cold rain. But it didn't stop them, thank goodness. So much fun seeing the little ones.

Oh it just seems so early! But I do hope GA gets some snow again this year!

I lived in Ohio for 20 years, moved to Southern California to get out of the bad winters. Today it was 91 degrees. I feel sorry for all of you. Stay safe and stay warm.
